Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been awarded the ISAGO Registration confirming compliance of the airport’s ground handling procedures with safety standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The registration will be valid until 4th June, 2018. Importantly, in 2012 Domodedovo became the first Russian airport to have passed the ISAGO audit in all the ground handling areas.
In the framework of the 52nd International Le Bourget Air Show, British consulting company Skytrax has announced the annual rating of the world’s best airlines – the famous ‘World Airline Awards’. Top 3 airlines in the 2016 rankings are partners of Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
On 12th July, Moscow Domodedovo Airport hosted an ‘avia fashion’ show - DME RUNWAY. The unique industry-related event confined to the international flight attendant’s day has been held at DME for the second straight year.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport is planning to spend RUB 2.2 bn in 2016 and 2017 for implementation of projects in the sphere of information technologies. All the projects are aimed at bolstering client orientation and boosting efficiency of processes in place at the airport.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport is investing RUB 1.7 bn in the project aimed at reconstructing the centralised aircraft fuelling system (Pop-Up Pit System) allowing to fully automate the process of supplying aircraft with jet fuel.
